Judges A3 Assessment for Grandfathering rights
From the Judges Sub-Committee:-
There has been some confusion about the number of dogs you are required to judge for an A3 application. This applies to both the traditional questionnaire (JD13) which has been extended to 31 December 2026 and Grandfathering applications which end on 31 December 2025.
Salukis are in Tier 3/Stud Band B which is a minimum of 70 dogs hands on. To avoid any doubt we have recently had this confirmed by the Judges Education Advisor at the RKC. They will not pass your application to judge a Ch Show or be pre-approved, if you have not judged the required number of dogs.
You also need to pass a hands on (A3) assessment for your first three CC Breeds, and will not be passed without this.
With the extension there may hopefully be an opportunity for more judges to be passed.
If you are interested in taking the Hands on A3 Assessment at the November BAD please contact the BEC. John Walton Haddon:-
There will need to be sufficient numbers for anonymity of candidates.
