COMMITTEE BALLOT 2024 – NOMINATION FORM
The 2024 AGM will be held at Roade Village Hall, Bailey Brooks Lane, Roade, Northampton, NN7 2LS on Sunday 28 April 2024. Items for the Agenda should be sent to the Secretary at secretary@salukiclub.co.uk no later than 29 February 2024 at 12.30pm.
Elections of Officers and Committee Members
Honorary Vice-President – the Club may have up to five Honorary Vice-Presidents. The current Honorary Vice-Presidents are Tessa Abbott, Harry Kendall, Pauline Kendall, and Chris Ormsby. Following the sad passing of Brian Pether, we are seeking nominations for one additional Honorary Vice-President. Honorary Vice-Presidents are elected for life.
President – the President, Michael Williams, was elected in 2022 for four years and so continues in office.
Vice-president – the Vice-president, Tricia Ulyatt, was elected at the AGM in 2023 for an unspecified period and offers herself for re-election for a period of two years.
Magazine Editor – the joint editors, Kathy Webb and Ann Shimmin are standing down and a new editor or editors will need to be elected. The magazine editor or editors will be elected for a period of three years.
Treasurer – the Treasurer, Linda Aldous, was elected at the SGM in 2023 and offers herself for re-election for a period of three years.
Secretary – the Secretary, Michelle Ulyatt, was elected at the AGM in 2023 for an unspecified period and offers herself for re-election for a period of one year.
Committee members – there are nine places for elected committee members who hold office for one year.
Jeannette Glaister, Lynn Ward, David Steel, John Walton Haddon, Connie de Souza, John Davies, Lina Hoggren, Jane Hepburn, and Helen Williams were elected at the SGM in September 2023 and offer themselves for re-election.
A nomination form for the roles is below. Members nominated must have been in membership of the Club for the three years prior to the year of nomination. Nominations should be submitted no later than 29 February 2024.
