Coronavirus: show update

Following advice from the Kennel Club, the Committee has decided to cancel the Limited Show which was to have taken place on 5 April.  Entries will be refunded.

It has also been decided to cancel the Open Show which was scheduled for 16 June.  It is felt that any attempt to find a new date  /venue after the KC moratorium would probably be futile; so many other Clubs will be in a similar position that the KC will be overwhelmed with requests to re-schedule and venues will already have bookings for the period after the end of June.

The Club AGM which was due to take place on 5 April after the Limited Show is postponed; members will be informed of the revised date in due course.  The Kennel Club will be giving dispensations to clubs who have to hold AGMs outside the timescale stated in their Constitutions.  Although the AGM Agenda is now fixed, it will not be sent out untill nearer the new meeting date.  Any member who would like a copy e-mailed to them can contact the Secretary (secretary@salukiclub.co.uk).

The Committee regrets having to cancel the Shows, but we hope the Championship Show in October will go ahead and give members the opportunity to socialise with their Salukis once more.
